SFIS Holds a dear place in Jade's heart...Zelo-Jade graduated from the Santa Fe Indian School, located in Santa Fe, New Mexico, with the highest honors given to graduates. Earning the "19 Pueblo's Governor's Award" for their "Overall Excellence in Academic Achievement, Community Service and Civic Affairs, and Exemplifying the core values of the Santa Fe Indian School with a commitment to Native American Cultural Values and Traditions.".

Youth United for Climate Crisis Action (YUCCA)
During their high school years (2018 - 2021) Zelo-Jade was active in climate advocacy work alongside the YUCCA group.

Native Health Initiative(NHI)
The Native Health Initiative (NHI) was created in 2005 as a partnership between health profession students and Indigenous communities to address health inequities, using the framework of health equity and loving service to guide our work. The partnership began in North Carolina, now primarily in New Mexico.
